Summer Camp -
KwaZulu Natal, South Africa
Kwazulu
Natalâs regional summer camp was held from the 3rd-9th
January 2004 at Camp Anerley in Hibberdene. Thirty-six young people
gathered together for a week-long experience that changed their
lives forever. A dedicated group of staff members and an extremely
enthusiastic bunch of campers ensured that this was one of the most
successful camps yet.
The theme
for camp this year was ãPROVERBS ö uPHILA KAYI ONEä.
Even the
rain couldn't dampen the spirits.

Meaning that
you must make the most of this life, as it is preparation for the
next. And how, by reading proverbs, we can gain the wisdom to live
our lives more like Jesus Christ.

learning worship dances
The
highlights of camp were the sports which included soccer, softball,
and volleyball. Other highlights were praise and worship, and the
spiritual talks which occurred in the mornings. There were also
activities on the beach and an afternoon spent at the super-tube.
The participation of the campers in activities such as the obstacle
course, capture the flag, and stalk the lantern was amazing to see.
They all definitely put 100% effort into everything that they did.

From the
feedback given by the campers almost all of them experienced life
change during the week, their relationship with God grew stronger
and they will definitely return next year.
