Seniors Score at Sunday Lunch

On August 11 approximately 25 seniors from the Cape Town North (South Africa) church were treated to a gourmet meal at the home of pastoral couple Johan and Colleen Kruger.

Coffee was served after the meal, and provided the necessary mental stimulation for a Bible character quiz. A number of those present scored full marks. Can you identify the following Bible characters?

BIBLE CHARACTERS

1.          He boasted a little too frequently, but failed to keep his shirt on  when pursued by a woman.

2.          He had a little too much to drink on one occasion, and saw a colourful vision in the sky.

3.          To which man in the Bible would the following song most aptly apply? "Never trust a woman, she'll make a monkey out of you."

4.          A noblewoman of great beauty, she was willing to die to accomplish a dangerous mission.

17.        An outcast son of a prostitute, he became a general in the army of Israel. He is known for a foolish vow, which caused him to lose his daughter.
